Redbreast Lustau Edition is a phenomenal whiskey that should be in your home bar.

Redbreast needs very little introduction for fans of Irish whiskey. The Lustau Edition is a non-age statement variety of Redbreast that is finished in oloroso sherry casks from the Bodegas Lustau winery in southern Spain.
We look forward to trying the Redbreast PX limited edition sherry cask finish in the very near future. (Update: reviewed here.)
If we had to describe Redbreast Lustau Edition in one word, it would be superb. This is, simply put, a brilliant whiskey. Redbreast is known for its rich single pot still goodness, but the sherry cask finishing from Bodegas Lustau is remarkable. Notes of candied fruits and almonds are evident, as is lightly spiced oak, all bathed in the sherry cask sumptuousness. Simply outstanding.

Redbreast Lustau Edition: 95 POINTS
For the money, this is one of the absolute best Irish whiskeys available today. A bit under the radar, it's easier to find in stores and online than its pricier brethren.
